This old period home was given a much needed facelift and given a big update.
From a very plain cream or yellow walls, bright re carpets and a mix of carpet and laminate plus very dated furniture and furnishings. It was a very jumbled house and needing updating and some cohesion.
The brief was to create a timeless home that felt more modern but was still sympathetic to the age of the property.
Soft muted colours were used throughout and a mixture of different woods, metal and textures to create a homely space.
Updating the carpet throughout to the same
created that much needed cohesion and consistency.
The muted wall colours were brought alive more with contrasting soft furnishings and furniture to add some contrast which helped bring the wall colour alove.
