As part of a new residential development on the outskirts of Colchester, this family home was styled and dressed to create a welcoming, aspirational environment for prospective buyers. The brief from the developer was to highlight the property’s spacious layout and modern finishes, while ensuring it felt warm, liveable, and family-friendly.
To achieve this, we introduced a carefully balanced palette of neutral tones and soft textures, layered with statement furniture pieces and contemporary accessories. Each room was styled to emphasise its proportions and potential, helping viewers imagine how the space could work for their own lifestyle.
A unique feature of this project was our collaboration with local artists, whose bespoke pieces were incorporated throughout the home. These artworks elevated the overall scheme, bringing individuality, creativity, and a sense of place to the interiors. The result was a home that felt not only beautifully presented but also original and memorable.
This project demonstrates how thoughtful styling, combined with creative partnerships, can transform a newly built property into a home with character and emotional appeal – an essential element in connecting with buyers and standing out in a competitive market.
